I Think You're Fat and Ugly

Dear Me,

I'm sorry I think you're fat and ugly.
That you will never measure up.
That you will never be happy with what you have and who you are.

I'm sorry I'm not proud of you.
That I don't believe in you.
That I don't think anyone will ever love you.
That my negativity holds you back.

I wish we could find a way to get along.
That we can work things out.
Every time we get close to resolving things,
All it takes is for you to stand in front of a mirror
And I hate you all over again.

For my blindness,
For never loving you,
For my hate
