I Always Will Have Something for You

I am not sure how to apologize to you, mostly because you are okay now. Your life is fine and you moved on. Maybe this is an apology to myself. All I know is that I am broken, I am not that same girl you knew, she was lost between the nonsense and immaturity of August 1, 2008. I sit here everyday and wish I had a reset button, I regret my life. I realized what I was thinking now, yeah 8 months too late. I wanted something there, that moment in time I thought I wanted what was in front of me because of the safety. I should've just kept in my head, "You can't be everything you wanna be before your time". I wouldn't have done it. I would be with you. You would still be holding me every night and telling me you love me. I wouldn't be such a fuck up. I turn to anything that gets you off my mind for a minute. Today is the day I have to say enough is enough, you will NEVER come back. And today I am going to deal with that. I'm going to forget you for once and for all. I am truly sorry for cheating on you. 76th street is never going to be the same, I destroyed a beautiful place, it's poison now. She makes you happy, she loves you, I wish you the best of luck and I am glad that you are glad. But I miss you and I always will have something for you.
