That I'm Going To Be Losing You Father

I'm so sorry that I'm going to be losing you Father. I'm sorry that there isn't something I could do to make your life easier, less overwhelmed by Parkinson's. I'm so glad for all the talks we've had, and that I got to tell you how much you've meant to me, throughout my life. But the hurt of losing you, and how much I'll miss you when you're gone, seems so much bigger right now....If I had a magic wand, I'd use it to make you better.

And I'm sorry I don't have one.
