Sorry My Love Got Oppressive

I'm sorry my love got oppressive. It's just...well, no girl has ever been as kind to me as you were. You listened when I was down. Supported me when I had to make hard decisions. Comforted me when I was in pain.

How could I not fall in love with you? But you felt friendship was as far as we could go. And you complained to me when guys you dated just wanted to "hook up" and move on. You wanted someone who could care about your brain more than your beautiful body. I tried to do that. You didn't want me to be that person. But you made my life so happy. And I pressured you to allow me the chance to make you happy and bring peace to your life. Your family and friends all loved me and how happy you were when I was around.

I'm sorry that it didn't work for us. Make sure this new younger guy is treating you properly. Of course I'm jealous. But what can I do anymore?
