I Can't Ever Make You Happy

I'm sorry, Dad, that "sorry" doesn't amount to anything with you. I'm sorry that I can't amount to anything with you either. But most of all, I'm sorry I'm a girl and not a boy. I'm sorry you only love them and not me. I'm sorry you wouldn't let me try to be a son, you were the one who didn't let me play baseball or mow the lawn or play football. I'm sorry I can't ever make you happy.
