Sorry For Your New Boyfriend

I feel sorry for your new boyfriend. I'm sorry that he'll have to feel the same disappointment that I felt when you get tired of pretending to be everything he wants and you drop your mask and show your true self. I'm sorry that he will also have to feel betrayed and hurt when you tell him it was all his fault in expecting you to be perfect. I'm sorry he'll have to feel bewildered when you rub his face in your mess as if it was his own mess and nothing to do with you. I'm sorry that he'll have to feel ashamed and hurt when you use his weaknesses against him and try to belittle him to make yourself feel superior or to gain sympathy from your friends for what you had to put up with, for how put upon you always are because of someone else's problems--that are never problems until you get bored with the person. I'm sorry that he too will have to feel used and abused and thrown away when you get bored with him and go out hunting someone better or more exciting. You could only hold up the mask for so long for me. You won't be able to hold it up any longer for him. He probably doesn't deserve what you'll do to him any more than I deserved it when you did it to me, or any more than any of the other guys deserved it when you did it to them. You're a sad, pathetic excuse for a human being and I'm sorry that so many other people will have to be hurt by you for no good reason before it's all over. I'm sure sorry I ever knew you and even sorrier that I tried to love you in spite of your evil ways. I'm sorry you'll never learn how to love someone besides yourself.
