A Better Mommy

I'm sorry I'm not a better mommy to you, honey. I always dreamed of you and I going to museums and amusement parks and the fair together, and going trick-or-treating together. I'm sorry I couldn't teach you how to ride your bike; that you had to teach yourself because I can't run alongside you. I'm sad that you have the Mommy that can't do those kinds of things. I don't think I mind being disabled so much because I'm still me, but I hate that I can't walk and run with YOU. I just hope you know I love you more than anything and always will.

I'm sorry that Daddy left us, because of how much sadness it's caused you. I'm sorry I cannot forgive him for that.

This is absolutely heartbreaking. Tears welled up in my eyes as I read this; sometimes life can be so beautiful and sad. I hope this woman has a good life...
