A Secret Admirer

I'm sorry I drive by your house every day even though you barely know who I am. I go out of my way to pass your house every time I need to run errands on that side of town, and I fabricate errands to run on that side of town. Somehow it makes me feel better when I drive past to know that you are right there, when I see the lights on in your studio and know that you are 50 feet away.

I'm sorry I have created an entire fantasy world in my head about you and I. I look forward to weekday afternoons above all else . Once a week or so you say "how are you today?" or "how's it going?" and it makes the sun shine that much brighter on my day that YOU spoke to ME.

We had a whole conversation last week, and you actually came looking for me and walked up to me to have that conversation. It was simple, not a big deal, an informational conversation on your part. For me... I am still reliving the way you looked into my eyes when we were talking for those 3 minutes.

I'm sorry I can't let this go and just be cool about it. I do try to appear cool about it when I'm around you, but I can scarcely take my eyes off of you and I think you know that. But then, you watch me a lot too and the way our eyes meet every afternoon make me wonder if you ever think about me at all when I'm not there?

Do you ever wish you weren't married the way that I wish you weren't married?

I'm sorry.
